Our Signature Oak Bird boxes are designed to make a beautiful focal point in gardens and public outdoor spaces whilst providing a high quality, long lasting and safe nesting place for our garden birds year after year.
All our nesting boxes are handcrafted in our joinery workshop in Warwickshire, United Kingdom. They’re designed and built to specifications set by the BTO and RSPB organisations ensuring we create a bird box than provides the correct internal space and features required in order to give our birds the best environment and chances of them successfully raising their young.

Choosing the right hole size for the species you would like to attract is important, as smaller holes will limit the nest box to smaller species and bigger ones allow for the large species to use, we supply our oak boxes with a wide range of holes that can be selected during ordering.

If you want to have the option over time to change between different species using your next box, we can supply your nest box with all 3 holes plates, that reduce your hole size down from the largest 32mm to 28mm and 25mm, giving you the flexibility in the future.
Nesting birds often return to the same place year on year if they are happy with there nest box, so its important that it also stands the test of time, so that’s why each Signature bird box is crafted using solid oak - a long lasting durable hardwood. For the roof & trim we use Cedar, a timber rich in natural oils which create the perfect material for rain repellent roofs.
Other Special features we included on our Oak Bird boxes include brass hinged side entry panels for easy cleaning access, year after year and to finish each bird box is fitted with polished brass entrance hole protectors, , this not only adds a unique decorative element but also protects nesting birds inside from predators such as Squirrels & Woodpeckers.
As part of our Signature range, each nest box comes complete with a Brass engraved Warden’s Crafts & Creations – Handcrafted in United Kingdom plaque.
